Plan your Garden Well.

Planting a Garden?

I beg your pardon,
Are you starting a garden,
What a nice idea,
Creating atmosphere.

Have you picked a proper place,
For your garden's little space,
A bit of manure did you lay,
That you collected before last May.

It was wise to prepare the soil,
For on the planting you will toil,
Bulbs were placed vines and ferns,
Each plant has it's own concerns.

Placing them in proper site,
So the sun will shine just right,
Likes and dislikes you did respect,
Avoiding tears of growth neglect.

Bursts of flowers then explode,
To cause a climactic episode,
Buds will open in colorful view,
Showing life that starts anew.

One two, three, then more,
Giving hints of nature's store,
There are many different hues,
Always able to hide harsh views.

Saying in a special way,
"Don't forget to have a nice day",
Bushy bushes strong green vines,
Reminds us all of pristine times.

Every plant in full array,
Helping nature to light your way,
Rains do come all to few,
Petals fall in a leafy stew.

Flowers know their time will come,
To then give forth their total sum,
Those of all that bloomed in June,
Will be no more each new moon.

But for seeds left behind,
Hoping for brisk winds to find,
A swan song that announces life,
Spread along by weathered strife.

They never seem to have their say,
Where in the end they will lay,
It's God's will they do fulfill,
Leaving behind those flowering still.
